About the job Production Supervisor
Our client is a global leader in the Industrial machinery manufacturing sector. HQ in America.
They serve two key markets, agriculture, and infrastructure, with seven different product divisions, including Utility, Lighting and Transportation, Telecom, Solar, Coatings, Irrigation, and Ag Tech.
They manufacture products in 85 facilities across six continents while running a business in 22 different countries.
They are in search of a Production Supervisor to join their team in Dubai.
Experience: 5 - 8 Years (3 years\' experience; preferably in the Steel Fabrication industry)
Location: Jafza, Dubai
Education level: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Specific knowledge, skill, ability, and requirements:
Independence: Reporting to the Operations Manager; Operating with broad objectives and with independent choice of methods in line with the divisions mission statement.

Specific knowledge, skill, ability, and requirements:
- Knowledge of product management is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Win Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience in working in multicultural environments is desired.
- Operates from a narrow scope of responsibility to maintain production schedules and to ensure quality standards and
- Safety requirements are met.
- Maintenance of production schedule and production to meet the delivery of customer orders on time.
- Must have sound knowledge of MIG Welding, welding defects, Jigs, and Fixtures.
- Capable to Interpret drawings and welding symbols and can use measuring instruments like Micrometer, Vernier, Dial gauge, etc.
- Works closely with the Maintenance department for upkeep of machines and Utilities for uninterrupted production.
- Oversees the accomplishment of assigned work through subordinate lead assemblers.
- Plan work makes assignments and trains new employees as per Managers instruction.
- Provide on-the-job training for production employees in all areas of their job duties including Safety and Quality requirements.
- Assist hiring process and administers company policies for assigned department.
- Has basic knowledge of Lean and ISO 9001 QMS.
- Reports discrepancies in blueprints, specifications, methods, engineering data, standards, etc., to the production manager.
