Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Production Supervisor

to oversee daily operations in our plastic manufacturing facility, specializing in

irrigation pipes and fittings

. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards while managing a team of machine operators, technicians, and production workers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff on the shop floor. Monitor and ensure efficient operation of

extrusion

and

injection molding

processes. Oversee the production of

HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE

and

PP pipes and fittings

for irrigation systems. Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality control standards, and company safety policies. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory data. Train and mentor production staff on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards. Enforce discipline, attendance, and performance standards within the team. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve technical and quality issues. Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

,

Industrial Engineering

,

Polymer Technology

, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of

supervisory experience

in plastic manufacturing, particularly in

irrigation or pipe production

. Strong knowledge of

extrusion and injection molding

processes. In-depth understanding of

drip irrigation pipes

,

pipe products

, and

irrigation fittings

. Proficient in mold changes (loading/unloading), pin and core changes, and parameter adjustments. Familiarity with materials such as

HDPE

and

polypropylene

. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments. Basic proficiency in

MS Office

and

production/ERP software systems

Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
