Job Purpose:

Responsible for heading the team in charge of executing the manufacturing process steps and ensuring that it operates as smoothly as possible while reducing and rationalizing on cost inefficiencies to the minimum Responsible for making sure that the manufacturing equipment is in good working order to maximize product production as the marketplace dictates while minimizing on scraps as much as possible

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Head the production process and draw up a production schedule Head quality manufacturing engineering solutions to hardware, operational, development and production requirements Lead productive dynamic working relationships with engineering, design and planning departments to maintain regular association and to discuss and agree improvement issues Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions Collaborate with configuration control and engineering design regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods are applied Coordinate work steps with tool room personnel, assigned technicians and outside vendors Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into production environments Appraise performance PMS for own employees Fulfill additional tasks as per job requirements and as assigned by line managementMain KPI Key Performance indicators: Core Competencies + Financial Management

Job Skills and Abilities:

Excellent in English language Very good communication skills Very good computer skills Professional in reading Technical Drawing Technical background in Mechanical Processes such as Welding, Metal Forming Will be an asset Ability to work under pressure Knowledge of manufacturing concepts Ability to grasp modern technology quickly Ability to prioritize multiple projects Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior

Qualifications:

BSC in Mechanical Engineering Preferable Production 10-15 Years of Experience Experience with ISO 9000, 14001, 18001, TS16949 standards Good technical background Experience in machine shop operations, critical measurements and tight tolerances Certificate of operations Management, Planning & Control or Lean manufacturing * Previous production management and supervision experience
