Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a meticulous and results-driven Production Planning Coordinator to join their team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively coordinating and optimizing production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining inventory levels. The Production Planning Coordinator will play a critical role in streamlining operations and enhancing overall productivity within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain detailed production plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of joinery orders.

- Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of finished joinery products.

- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to prevent stock shortages or overages, while minimizing storage costs.

- Analyze joinery production specifications and capacity to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to optimize production processes.

- Collaborate with the joinery production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.

- Utilize ERP systems and other relevant software to track joinery production progress, identify bottlenecks, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.

- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the joinery production process and implement measures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

- Record and maintain accurate bookkeeping of all actual processes at the joinery factory, including the output of machineries and sections.

- Follow up with each section in updating the actual production planning tracker, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

- Assist the Planning Manager in preparing the joinery Production Planning Programs, providing necessary support and input to facilitate effective planning and scheduling.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the joinery industry as a Production Engineer, Factory Supervisor, or Cut list Specialist with a clear understanding of all machines and processes in the joinery factory.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets and data analysis.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced joinery manufacturing environment.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving joinery production-related issues.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems within the joinery manufacturing setting.

- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
