Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality products. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising production operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and coordination with R&D and Quality Control teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

Plan, schedule, and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to meet targets Ensure efficient use of resources including manpower, materials, and machinery Monitor production performance and implement process improvements for increased efficiency Ensure production meets quality standards and batch consistency in coordination with Q/C

Coordination with Q/C and R&D

Work closely with the Q/C Manager to monitor in-process quality, final product quality, and batch compliance Coordinate with R&D team for pilot batches, trials, new product development, and scaling up processes Provide feedback to Q/C and R&D on production feasibility, process optimization, and raw material performance

Team Management

Supervise and guide production staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to SOPs Allocate work effectively and monitor employee performance Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork on the production floor

Process & Equipment Management

Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and utilized efficiently Implement process improvements to optimize production, reduce waste, and enhance productivity Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational protocols

Inventory & Material Management

Coordinate with Procurement and Q/C to ensure timely availability of raw materials Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and storage Maintain accurate production records and inventory reports

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production logs, batch records, and operational reports Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management review Ensure all SOPs, safety protocols, and quality guidelines are strictly followed

Requirements & Skills

Minimum 4 years of experience in production/operations management in chemical, polymer, paints, or adhesives industry Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Mechanical/Chemical Production, or a related field Strong knowledge of production processes, workflow optimization, and batch manufacturing Experience coordinating with Q/C and R&D teams Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of ISO standards, safety regulations, and chemical handling practices Excellent communication, organizational, and team management abilities

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
