Job Purpose

The prodcution manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's plastic bags & straps production and operation, ensuring efficient and safe production processes, and optimizing production output. The role involves leading a team of skilled workers, ensuring high performance and compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Oversee and manage production operations to ensure cost-effective production processes. Optimize production output, minimize downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. Manage budgets, and expenses to achieve cost savings Report production performance, equipment reliability, and inventory. Provide guidance, training, and support to operations staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely utilization of resources, suppliers and vendors. Develop a requisition format for row material. Process purchase orders. Set Production / Operational management cost control parameters Present reports regularly.

Safety and Compliance

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Implement and maintain HSE protocols, procedures, and training. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in Plastic Industry production / operations Strong knowledge in production processes, equipment, and technologies. Proficiency in operational management, safety compliance, and risk management. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Manage multiple priorities

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position. Occasional travel to sites and operational facilities may be required. Work hours may vary and could include evenings, weekends, and on-call availability.
