We are looking for a dynamic and experienced

Production Manager

to oversee and lead the fabrication and workshop operations for

Mobile Fuel Stations, Fuel Tankers, and Heavy Steel Structures

used in

Cement and Crusher Plants

. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and a technical background in steel fabrication with an added advantage of knowledge in

hydraulics and pneumatics systems

used in industrial applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and lead day-to-day operations of the fabrication workshop. Supervise production of mobile fuel stations, tankers, silos, platforms, hoppers, and other heavy steel structures. Review and interpret fabrication drawings and ensure execution as per specifications. Plan and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects. Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout all fabrication processes. Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project teams to streamline operations. Manage workshop resources, manpower allocation, and material usage efficiently. Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all workshop equipment and machinery. Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop. Communicate with clients and inspection bodies for technical approvals and progress reviews. Maintain production documentation and generate regular reports to management. Monitor productivity and initiate continuous improvement plans to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Apply knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

in troubleshooting and supporting integrated mechanical systems used in fuel handling or industrial structures (an advantage).

Job Requirements:

Minimum 8 years

of proven experience in steel fabrication and workshop operations, preferably in mobile fuel stations, tanker manufacturing, or heavy industrial steel structures. Strong technical understanding of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and structural steel works. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication layouts, and technical documents. Experience in planning, team management, and production optimization. Knowledge of

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

is an added advantage. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
