To oversee and manage the complete production operations for the Portal Cabin Division, ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality prefabricated modular cabins according to client requirements, design specifications, and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination
Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines and client specifications.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Allocate manpower, materials, and machinery to optimize productivity.
Production Management
Supervise daily manufacturing activities on the shop floor.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Monitor and improve production processes, reducing waste and downtime.
Team Supervision
Lead, manage, and train a team of supervisors, technicians, and laborers.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for the team.
Quality Assurance
Work with the QC department to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Health & Safety
Enforce compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
Promote a safe work environment and ensure usage of appropriate PPE.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and labor.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar role within modular/prefabricated cabin or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques in prefabricated buildings.
Familiar with reading technical drawings and production planning tools.
Leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
