About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Production Manager

to lead daily operations within our perfume and fragrance manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a deep understanding of production processes involving blending, filling, labeling, and packaging of perfume products.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily perfume production operations, including compounding, filling, packaging, and quality control. Manage production staff, assign tasks, and ensure productivity targets are met. Maintain strict adherence to GMP, safety, and fragrance industry standards. Monitor batch production, fragrance formulations, and raw material usage. Collaborate closely with the R&D, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing teams to ensure accurate and timely production. Ensure equipment (mixing vessels, filling machines, crimpers, etc.) is functioning properly and coordinate maintenance as needed. Maintain inventory levels of fragrance oils, alcohol, bottles, pumps, boxes, and other components. Create and manage production schedules, work orders, and batch records. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and minimize waste. Train and coach staff on production processes and safety procedures. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management; fragrance, cosmetics, or chemical manufacturing preferred. Strong understanding of perfume blending, compounding, filling, and packaging processes (or willingness to learn quickly). Knowledge of GMP and OSHA regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues. Proficiency with production planning tools, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

Experience in cosmetics, personal care, or fragrance manufacturing. Familiarity with batching software and quality control procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bilingual is a plus.
