Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Production Manager

to oversee and optimize all aspects of our

furniture production and fit-out operations

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

custom furniture manufacturing

joinery

, and

interior fit-out

, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities for the furniture workshop and site fit-outs. Oversee production schedules, materials procurement, and workforce allocation. Ensure that production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Supervise production and installation teams, providing clear direction and support. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to align production with project timelines. Implement and maintain production efficiency, quality control, and cost-saving initiatives. Manage equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor project progress, address issues proactively, and report to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Furniture Production, Interior Design, or related field. Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in furniture or joinery production management. Proven track record in

fit-out projects

(commercial, residential, hospitality, or retail). Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and project management tools is an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. Proficiency in MS Office and production management software (e.g., AutoCAD, ERP systems). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
