Job Title:

Production Manager (With Catering Experience)

Job Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process to ensure products are manufactured on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role involves planning, organizing, and controlling production schedules and resources while ensuring safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, procurement, and logistics, to achieve operational excellence and meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all production activities. Supervise and lead production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to resolve bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain product standards and address non-conformance issues. Manage budgets, monitor costs, and implement measures to control waste and optimize resource use. Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management review. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, technology, and team performance. Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure availability of materials and timely delivery of finished products.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a supervisory role within manufacturing or related industry. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.
