Production Engineer for CMC Machine shop
Knowledge & Qualification:
CNC & VMC Operations Mandatory, Oilfield Drilling Equipment manufacturing experience a must, Knowledge of API Q1 Spec with work experience of manufacturing of items as per monogram license of API-6A, API-16A, API-16C, API-5CT & API SPEC 7-1
Role & Responsibilities:
Basic Salary: OMR-500-700
- Qualification Required: B.E./ B.Tech /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Up to 6 to 8 years of experience in a CNC machining shop ( Lathe/milling/VTL/etc.) Preferable in manufacturing oilfield products related to API /completion tools/drilling equipment.
- Must have Knowledge and work experience in API products such as API-6A, API-16A, API-16C, API-5CT & API SPEC 7-1
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production planning & control, executing, monitoring & improving CNC & VMC machining operations.
- Understand/review technical documents of incoming job orders and plan them across several CNC machines.
- Responsible for machine shop production, handling Manpower in a shift / Shift supervision. Daily production output in respective shift plan Vs Actual.
- Must have experience with siemens and Fanuc control systems.
- Independently able to change setups and offsets.
- Good knowledge of Mastercam, 3D modelling , CNC Programming.
- Developing workplace safety strategy.
- Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Production Planning, Maintaining parts quality and Instrumentation, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
Basic Salary: OMR-500-700
