Role Overview: Greif is seeking a Production and Maintenance Coordinator for our site in Casablanca. As a Production and Maintenance Coordinator, you are responsible for planning and controlling production schedules for both our plastics and metal factories. Typical Accountabilities:

Responsible for planning and organizing production in collaboration with the two supervisors of both plastic and metal factories.

Optimizing the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards including: planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.

Estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process.

Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes and systems.

Monitoring the implementation of the production schedule while respecting customer specifications.

Carrying out daily reporting for the two factories, reporting difficulties encountered, discrepancies raised and make proposals of cost-effective solutions with a continuous improvement approach.

Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor and utilize lean manufacturing concepts, techniques, and processes.

Gather and analyze data pertaining to machine performance and identified problems. Use data to track and identify deficiencies that create downtime and reduce reliability.

Ensure, in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor, the availability of critical spare parts.

Respect and enforce internal safety instructions, procedures and policies applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures regarding personal conduct, HSE and Quality standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering

5 years of relevant experience as an electrical-mechanical (or related) engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills

Fluency in English

Analytical approach to complex issues and problem solving.

Strengths in lean manufacturing as well as electrical and mechanical skills 44
