Job Title: Product Specialist & Sales Representative - Ophthalmology Division

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Specialist and Sales Representative to join our Ophthalmology Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling ophthalmic products (e.g., ophthalmic lenses and devices, surgical consumables, surgical equipment, diagnostic devices) to eye care professionals, hospitals, and clinics within an assigned territory. The role involves in-depth product knowledge, customer education, territory management, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Promotion:

Promote and sell ophthalmology products to ophthalmologists, optometrists, clinics, and hospitals. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Conduct product presentations and in-clinic demonstrations.

Product & Market Expertise:

Develop strong product knowledge and stay updated with clinical data and competitor offerings. Provide technical and clinical information to support customer decision-making.

Territory Management:

Build and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with business objectives. Identify new business opportunities and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

Training & Support:

Train healthcare professionals on the use of devices or application of ophthalmic treatments. Support post-sale product usage and handle basic troubleshooting or complaints in collaboration with technical teams.

Reporting & Administration:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates. Prepare regular reports for management on market trends, competition, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

Native ARABIC Speaker is PREFERRED.

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Optometry, Business, or related field. 2-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry (preferably ophthalmology or similar specialty). Strong understanding of the ophthalmic market and clinical environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel within assigned territory.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with surgical or diagnostic ophthalmic equipment. Existing network of ophthalmologists or optometrists. Passion for healthcare innovation and patient outcomes.
