Product Specialist

About the Role:

Specktron is looking for a technically minded Product Specialist with a background in Audio Visual or IT technology to manage product knowledge, create technical marketing content, and oversee testing and training across our product range. This role connects product development, sales, and marketing, ensuring our products & solutions are well-documented, rigorously tested, and easy to understand.

What You'll Do

Product Knowledge & Content

Maintain accurate technical specifications, feature lists, and documentation for our A hardware and software. Create and update technical brochures, datasheets, sales decks, and marketing kits specific to the technology sector.

Sales & Product Training

Create technical training materials for sales and product teams & support internal product training sessions. Prepare technical product guides, feature explanations, and system integration use-case materials.

Videos & Product Demos

Support the execution of product videos, tutorials, and technical demos. Ensure technical accuracy and proper system functionality during recordings and live demos.

Testing & Evaluation

Test new firmware and software releases on interactive displays and AV hardware. Conduct hands-on testing of new products before launch and share technical feedback with the product team.

Market & Competitor Research

Study competitor AV/IT products and technical market trends. Suggest new products, features, or technologies relevant to the Audio Visual industry.

What We're Looking For

Mandatory:

Strong understanding of Audio Visual (AV) or IT hardware products (e.g., interactive displays, video conferencing, digital signage). Experience with technical product documentation or technical training material. Comfortable testing hardware, software, and firmware updates. Ability to explain complex technical features clearly to non-technical audiences. Good attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Education:

Undergraduate in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Computer Engineering (

Note:

Medical/Bio-Medical backgrounds are not suitable for this role). Good communication and technical presentation skills.

Job Experience:

Minimum 2 years of local experience specifically in the AV or IT industry.
