who will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overarching strategy and goals.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog based on market trends, customer needs and business objectives
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends
Define and prioritize features and functionality based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility
Define and document product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases
Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to continuously improve the platform and enhance the user experience
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies, sales collateral, and product messaging
Create evaluation metrics to determine, progress value and effectiveness of deployed tools and the team
Monitor and report on key performance metrics and business outcomes to senior management
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats
Knowledge and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a logistics, e-commerce or technology industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
