Product Line Manager KNX Systems

In this role, you will manage ABB's automation solution offering in the hospitality market segment (e. g., Guest Room Management Systems) in line with market needs and the business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the offering. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

This role is open globally, but location is preferred to be within the APAC or the Middle East region (countries such as, for example, China, Singapore or UAE). The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid



This role is contributing to the global success of the Business Line Building Automation within the Electrification Business Area.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Leading the market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in the Hospitality Solution portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities. Owning market and technical specifications for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following-up on portfolio performance. Taking the lead in co-development projects with hospitality customers, suppliers and other ABB product management colleagues to create tailored solutions. Developing the business case for portfolio development, maintenance, and cost reduction.


You be collaborating closely with global and local Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Training and Support Roles on the go-to-market of an integrated solution for the hospitality sector.

Qualifications for the role:

5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or related roles, with a strong background in building/home automation, bus-based systems, and wiring accessories. Industry expertise in hospitality solutions is a plus, combined with a global mindset and readiness for international travel. Fluent in English, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and stakeholders. Proactive and results-driven, with strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Global mindset with proven intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally.
