Works with the client to identify and coordinate new product developments and/or enhancements.
To develop product scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of the product\service, pricing, development plan, deliverables, and any related risks.
Assigns, schedules, trains, reviews, and monitors work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget. Mentors and provides expertise to other product team members.
Provides team leadership on individual projects. Assigns and checks work. Provide effective input on hiring and evaluating team members.
Works with the client to identify the roles of product team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction, and any training requirements that may be needed for a team member to complete the project.
Defines the responsibilities of departments involved in the product including customers, management, IT management, product team, vendors, and others affected by the project.
Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates product-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during implementation.
Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and the product development team.
Identifies the technical approach to be used on a given product and manages the development process including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and acceptance of the system and/or application.
Develops review schedules, checks, and acceptance tests for each phase of the product development.
Identifies design alternatives, researches existing product services in the marketplace, and recommends viable solutions.
Develops Proposals, evaluates responses, and leads the selection of teams.
Identifies and documents opportunities to integrate required skills and resources to fulfill product requirements.
Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations.
Organizes and conducts product team meetings.
Utilizes current, county-wide, and/or department-specific software to complete tasks.
Develops reports after the end of product lifecycle and archives all output including the source files.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications Qualification Required:
Ability to speak fluent English
Bachelor's degree
PMP certification is an advantage
2+ years handling full life-cycle projects/products
Technical Requirements:
Knowledge of various project management methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint.
Understanding any photo editing software - Photoshop is a plus
Knowledge about the latest industry trends in technology
Understanding the basic pipeline for Product Development from conception to Market
