Purpose of Role
Follows coding rules and standards to meet the needs of the business and ensures that coding is complete, accurate and timely so as to provide quality products to client.
Job Responsibilities
- Desk research for updating and improving of the existing product dictionary
- Responsible for product coding coming from any source in the office (panelist data, manufacture or 3rd party companies)
- Collecting and Updating Products, Brands, SKU through retail chains
- Build internal codes for the new products and define all attributes for the related products based on the company standards and specification.
- Work in coordination with the other members of the team on product information and characterization to support the unit with relevant tasks.
- Upon conclusion of product coding at the end of the period, take part in vital work for execution of period closing tasks
- Able to visit specific shops to identify products
- Maintain details and account for in stock promotional products
- Maintain own daily task status
- Collaboration with DP &fieldCapabilities
- Diploma/bachelors in any streams
- Microsoft excel Knowledge
- Attention to detail & Logical thinking
- FMCG product knowledge
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Preference for 1-2 years Data Coding/Entry experienceScope
- Responsible for own actions and output.
- Supports and contributes to a standardized process where the impact is primarily on the product coder’s work output
