Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a

3D Product Designer

with a strong background in

sheet metal design

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing products focusing on functionality, manufacturability, and aesthetics. This role will involve close collaboration with engineering, production, and R&D teams to deliver new design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D models and technical drawings for sheet metal products using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD and 3ds Max.

- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of designs.

- Optimize designs for production, considering materials, cost, and manufacturing processes.

- Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.

- Participate in design reviews and make improvements based on feedback.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in 3D design and sheet metal fabrication.

Key Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a 3D Product Designer with a focus on sheet metal.

- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes including bending and cutting.

- Experience with material selection, tolerance analysis, and product lifecycle development.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Full-time role, office-based, Mon-Sat

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
