Role Overview:

The Product Designer is a key member of the team responsible for the visual and aesthetic direction of client projects. Acting as the bridge between client's vision and technical execution, this role involves developing conceptual designs, crafting visual communications, and creating creative solutions that align with project briefs before handing over the design to the engineering team for validation.

Core Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact for new client projects to understand their needs, visions, and expectations. Extracting key insights from client meetings to define design direction. Translate verbal or written briefs into necessary visuals (mood boards, sketches, visual proposals, etc) Develop creative concepts and refine them through feedback and iteration. Communicate design intentions clearly to engineers for further development. Set up visual designs for clients (mock-ups, real-life render placements, sketches, etc). Ensure design consistency and alignment with client expectations throughout the process. Maintain organized records of projects, client feedback, design files, and progress tracking.

Required Skillset:

Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to develop: Concept sketches Mood boards Color palettes Aesthetic direction guides 3D mock ups Proficiency in relevant design and 3D software: SolidWorks (preferred for compatibility with the engineering team) Fusion 360 (acceptable alternative) Blender, Houdini, Rhino, or similar for organic modeling and visual presentation (unless adobe suites are very strong and you can produce these visuals on there) Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) for layout, render enhancements, and artwork creation. Clear understanding of production handover needs for engineers Excellent file management, version control, and documentation habits Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple overlapping projects Ability to adapt and work in fast-paced, multi-project environments

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of material and manufacturing processes Ability to perform quick mock-ups for early feedback Familiarity with client presentation techniques and persuasive storytelling

This role is highly collaborative and thrives on strong communication between you, the client, and the engineering team. Your ability to visually interpret ideas and guide them into actionable concepts will be critical to the success of every project. Stay curious, organized, and proactive in how you approach each brief. The engineering team will support you in production and guide you in what can and can't be made, but your creative leadership shapes the entire direction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
