Western Union powers your pursuit. As a Product Manager in Account Payout Network Product, you will work as a member of Global Payment team and will be responsible for leading integration projects between Western Union and external partners across Africa, from initial technical analysis and partner enrollment to full Retail & Digital service rollout. You will be part of a dynamic and agile team within a global fintech company dedicated to crafting the next-generation Account Payout Network, facilitating seamless transactions to bank accounts, wallets, and cards across over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

As a Product Manager in Account Payout Network Product, you will be responsible for planning, orchestrating, and driving the implementation of key projects which improve service quality and deliver transformative changes, with a focus on Agile project delivery.

You will play a crucial role understanding Western Union customer needs and external partner capabilities to deliver the best-in-class service solution.

You will compile reports and post-rollout reviews to conduct and maintain a detailed product performance review, identifying possible improvements after project release.

You will be working with external global partners and cross-functional internal teams.

You will analyze market trends and specifics, competitive landscape and provide product recommendations on service improvements.

You will be tracking KPIs of the newly launched services, proactively working with partners to improve and stabilize the service quality.

Role Requirements

Previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in Financial Services, preferably in cross-border remittance, b2b, b2c or b2b2c payment fintech (mobile money, merchant-facing payment solutions, e-payments, digital money), although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered.

Experience in delivering multiple PayIn or PayOut services and Partner or Vendor Relationship Management would be an advantage.

Previous technical or engineering background would be welcomed.

Attention to detail and a penchant for creating great customer experiences.

Previous strong experience of lean and agile working methodologies.

Ability to work seamlessly with matrix teams, and juggle projects across multiple networks and platforms.

Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds.

Understanding Compliance, Privacy, Legal and Settlement considerations would be a significant advantage.

Proven sharp analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
