Job Description

:

The Product Contracting Manager will be responsible for negotiating, maintaining the most competitive rates and business favorable terms & conditions for assigned suppliers/hotels as required for Experience Hub business needs. The contracting Manager will also hold direct responsibility of achieving new supplier/hotel onboarding and revenue production from assigned suppliers/hotels.

• Responsible for negotiating and maintaining the most competitive rates, terms and conditions in the market for assigned products (hotels, experiences) within defined/stretched deadlines
• Ensuring all agreed rates, availability, allocations, and release periods are competitive, finalized, comprehensively, loaded, and available in accordance with agreed SLAs and briefs.
• Deliver 360-degree account management with clear development plans for assigned suppliers/hotels
• Responsible for leading all operational, commercial, and sales activities related to all assigned suppliers/hotels accounts for all applicable channels
• Identify and evaluate the optimal sourcing methods (via FIT/Group static, direct API connectivity, via relevant channel mangers, via extranet etc.)
• Work hand in hand with platform/system team to set up products at the platform and responsible for future accurate and timely maintenance
• Manage full supplier/hotels onboarding process including account creation and configuration
• Facilitate and lead supplier and internal training as applicable
• Liaise between all relevant departments (legal, finance, platform system, sales, and customer service etc.,) to facilitate and influence speedy resolutions as per business needs, including defining and agreeing SOPs across different stakeholders
• Flexibility to travel locally and conduct constant site inspections of existing and new properties to ascertain suitability
• Direct accountability for the 100% product accuracy in system
• Assume direct accountability for production target for assigned suppliers/hotels, constantly monitor and manage performance of each assigned supplier/hotel and taking timely and necessary action to optimize performance.
• Conduct manual rate and availability competitive benchmarking where required and analyze periodic reports to maintain availability of inventory, rate competitiveness, rate comparison and rate accuracy
• Execute the loading of rates and information for assigned suppliers into the contracting system, ensuring minimal errors in collaboration with the systems team and in line with defined quality control standards and service level agreements
• Ensure the reservations, operations and finance teams are provided with accurate data to complete booking processes and produce accurate customer invoices
• Establish strong commercial relationship and rapport built with all allocated suppliers/hotels and internal stakeholders to sell products through different distribution channels (online and offline, direct, whitelable

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• Graduate in Business studies, Hospitality or Tourism or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience of product contracting, packaging for different distribution channels
• Solid understanding of different distribution system/channels including White label distribution
• Proven track record of achieving targets and KPI's
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in operational processes and supporting technology
• Excellent knowledge of tourism industry, how DMC/Tour operators/Travel agents and OTA works
• Strong negotiation and relationship maintenance with top management of partners
• Excellent Excel/PowerPoint and in person presentation skills
• Tech-savvy with proven ability to communicate and influence people internally and externally

Desirable:

• Have a masters degree in business studies, MBA, Hospitality or Tourism
• Prior experience and knowledge of API/Channel managers connectivity
• Good knowledge and experience of working in Tour operator booking platform and connectivity systems
• Excellent business acumen
• Valid driving license
