P&A Engineer is a key technical advisor and product advocate to actively drive and to manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.The person would be closely working with Food heat transfer under BU FHT. Product knowledge of Heat exchangers is required. Apart from product knowledge candidate must have experience in some food application Like Food & Fruit processing, Beer, Dairy, Pharma, Starch, Beverage, Protein etc.

As a Product & Application Engineer you are a key person to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. You have a strong service culture. You are motivated by customer relations, results, continuous improvement, and have excellent people and communication skills.

• Work with existing relations or in products and in what is generated by sales team

• Lead the technical part of a customer requests making visits (physically or virtually), meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on product presentations to offer a customized value proposition to the customer.

• Lead and Support in the quotation process in a customer project.

• Run virtual meetings, virtual seminars and webinars to increase awareness of AL products and services

• Be product champion in a product launch campaign or in product campaigns and drives.

• Be local trainer for a specific product and application: Define and delivery local training programs for the AL employees, channels and customers.

• Use the One CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions

• Responsible to ensure business principles and governance are adhered to within area of responsibility

Knowledge

• Technical knowledge.
• Product knowledge and deep understanding of the customer process and applications.
• Competent in various separation processes and products.
• Express (written & verbal) in an appealing way: personal (authentic), concise, relevant.
• Use active listening.
• Have a social media active profile and use digital channels to increase network and secure presence Digital customer support interaction
• Proactive, Service minded, strong in customer care and take quick actions
• Ability to train and coach others on P&A certifications

Qualification & Experience
Mechanical or Chemical engineering graduate
