Title: Product Analyst

Role Overview: Business-savvy Product Analyst dedicated to understanding product performance, user behavior, and market trends to drive product strategy and improvements. This role leverages data analysis and business acumen to identify opportunities, define requirements, and recommend areas for investigation, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and data teams. While not requiring deep technical implementation skills, a strong ability to interpret data from Azure-based reporting tools is key.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze product usage data, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
Monitor key product metrics (KPIs) and develop dashboards/reports (primarily using tools like Power BI connected to Azure data sources) to track performance and inform decision-making.
Translate business questions into data-driven inquiries and provide actionable insights to product managers and stakeholders.
Conduct A/B testing analysis and other experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes.
Perform market research and competitive analysis to understand the landscape and identify differentiation opportunities.
Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements, user stories, and success criteria based on data insights.
Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to articulate data needs for deeper analysis or new data collection.
Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, in a clear and compelling manner.
Support the product development lifecycle by providing data-driven inputs at various stages.
Investigate anomalies or unexpected trends in product data to understand root causes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
2-4+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a data-driven product role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI; experience with other tools like Tableau or Google Analytics is a plus.
Ability to understand and interpret complex data, even without performing the deep technical extraction yourself.
Familiarity with product management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Experience with A/B testing concepts and analysis.
Basic understanding of SQL for data querying is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience working with data derived from Azure cloud environments or similar data platforms is beneficial.
Strong business acumen and understanding of product development lifecycles.
