Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with design teams, project managers, site engineers, and contractors to identify project-specific procurement needs. Review technical drawings, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and project specifications to determine material and equipment requirements. Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations) to vendors and subcontractors; analyze quotations based on cost, quality, compliance, and lead time. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to construction sites in alignment with project schedules. Conduct site visits to verify material usage and delivery coordination. Maintain and update procurement logs, supplier databases, and documentation. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, or non-compliance. Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations, as well as company procurement policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Estimator or Procurement Officer in the construction sector. Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost analysis, and estimations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and AutoCAD. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Minimum 1-3 years of fit-out experience with a UAE-based fit-out company (required). Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
