Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on technical requirements, pricing, and delivery capacity.

Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure correct material procurement.

Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and conduct cost analysis and negotiations.

Coordinate with design, project, and site teams to align procurement with project timelines and technical needs.

Follow up on supplier deliveries and ensure quality, quantity, and compliance with project standards.

Maintain procurement logs, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.

Support in preparing material submittals and technical compliance documents when required.

Ensure all procured materials meet project and client specifications.

Liaise with the storekeeper for material tracking and stock control.

Attend site and factory visits to assess supplier capabilities and product quality when needed.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

3-4 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably in the fit-out, interiors, or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, MEP components, joinery items, and finishing materials.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Familiarity with AutoCAD/shop drawings is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/procurement software systems.
