Procurement / Supply Chain Manager
to strengthen our team and support our growth.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or degree from a recognized university.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of problem-solving techniques is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Inventory control and data management on ERP/ Oracle
Technical & Administrative Skills:
Effective communication across departments, with customers and vendors.
Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs with a focus on customer service.
Strong documentation, analytical, and process improvement skills.
Team player who adapts positively to changes in policies, procedures, and work environments.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute purchasing activities according to company procedures.
Assist Operations Manager in daily operations.
Evaluate and approve suppliers with Operations/QHSE Manager.
Maintain approved supplier list and ensure only approved suppliers are used.
Obtain quotations and manage purchasing contracts within budgetary requirements.
Ensure timely deliveries and compliance with packaging, transport, import, and legal regulations.
Manage purchasing information, documentation, and supplier rating systems.
Optimize purchasing techniques and supplier performance.
Manage assets, stock, and materials efficiently.
Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
Attend Toolbox Talks, HSEQ meetings, and required training sessions.
Report unsafe behaviors to supervisors or facility management.
