Job Description

Procurement Specialist - A Z Care Pharmacy (Preferred Pharmacist)

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented

with a pharmacy background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing pharmaceutical inventory to ensure smooth operations and uninterrupted stock availability.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and equipment. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms. Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders to prevent stockouts. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and manufacturers. Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Analyze purchasing data, market pricing trends, and consumption patterns. Ensure all procurement activities comply with pharmacy regulations and company policies. Coordinate with the pharmacy team to understand stock needs and forecast demand. Resolve supply issues, delivery delays, or product shortages. Prepare regular procurement and inventory reports for management.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist

(Preferred). Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting). Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and market availability. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
