The Role

We are seeking a well skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality products. The role requires good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to maintain strong supplier relationships and support our sales and project teams. Key Responsibilities: Inquiry Management: o Obtain inquiries from the sales team and check product history. o Select suppliers to float the inquiries and obtain prices. Price Analysis: o Analyze supplier prices and send detailed cost calculations before deadlines. o Provide the history of prices and trends. Supplier Selection: o Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Order Management: o Issue Purchase Orders. o Arrange on-time payments and maintain import shipment tracking reports. o Prepare a procurement action plan per the project schedule, considering lead items. o Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries. Negotiation and Coordination: o Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company. o Coordinate and negotiate with forwarding companies to obtain the best freight rates and scheduled deliveries. o Arrange pre-shipment inspections with the relevant agencies.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. o Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role. Lubricant is advantage. o Strong analytical and negotiation skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. o Age: 25-40 years old o Gender: no preference
