Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Procurement Specialist

to join our team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and coordination with internal departments to fulfill purchasing needs. The role demands a high level of analytical ability, industry awareness particularly in construction materials and strong communication skills to maintain supplier relationships and ensure procurement efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, compliance, and service Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to secure the best value Coordinate with internal departments to gather requirements and ensure accuracy in orders Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong professional relationships Maintain records of purchases, pricing, delivery, and inventory levels Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and strategies for procurement optimization Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and regulations Assist in sourcing and identifying appropriate construction materials based on project specifications Prepare reports and documentation for management review Work closely with the accounts and logistics teams for payment and delivery coordination
