Procurement Specialist

to join our team immediately.

To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:



Coordinate procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management in line with project and organizational requirements. Manage the procurement process for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) materials and services to support facilities management operations. Liaise with internal departments to understand material and service needs and ensure timely procurement. Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance. Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and delivery schedules. Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and performance standards. Track and report procurement KPIs including lead times, cost savings, and supplier reliability. Assist in developing and maintaining preferred supplier lists and approved vendor databases. Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines. Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely payments and resolve invoicing discrepancies. Support audits and compliance checks by providing procurement documentation as needed. Keep up to date with market trends and MEP material innovations relevant to facilities management.

Qualifications:



A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within MEP facilities management. Strong background or understanding of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and related materials. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with procurement or ERP software is a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple procurement requests in a fast-paced environment. A professional attitude and appearance at all times. Fluency in Hindi, English and Arabic (preferred). Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
