Job Description

The Procurement Specialists will assist in managing supplier sourcing, purchasing activities, and forecasting needs across the business. This includes food ingredients, kitchen accessories, packaging (local and international), and retail/seasonal product launches. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to support procurement processes from end to end, working closely with senior operations and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Purchasing:

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for ingredients, packaging, equipment, and supplies. Support negotiations of prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors. Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up to ensure timely arrival of goods.

Forecasting & Planning:

Collaborate with the Operations Manager and CEO to anticipate procurement needs. Help maintain purchase plans for food, packaging, and kitchen items. Monitor inventory levels and manage lead times to prevent stockouts.

Supplier & Cost Management:

Maintain supplier records and documentation of past purchases. Ensure competitive pricing while adhering to quality standards. Identify and assist in onboarding backup suppliers for key items.

Packaging Development:

Coordinate sourcing of custom packaging for launches, events, and retail needs. Liaise with international suppliers and track production/shipping timelines. Work with the creative team on packaging specifications and samples.

Operational Support:

Ensure clear communication and coordination between procurement, kitchen operations, and retail teams. Support efforts to centralize purchasing processes as the brand scales. Track supplier performance and suggest improvements where necessary.

Requirements

2-3 years experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in F&B, bakery, or retail sectors. Basic knowledge of food and packaging sourcing. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and responsiveness. Proficient communication skills in both English and Arabic. Familiarity with procurement tracking tools or ERP systems is a plus.
