Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist with experience in the UAE construction industry. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Source and procure construction materials, tools, equipment, and services from approved vendors.

Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed, with emphasis on local UAE suppliers.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize value and minimize risk.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and the procurement team to forecast material needs.

Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and local regulations.

Track orders, confirm delivery dates, and resolve any supply issues or delays.

Maintain and update purchase records, pricing data, and supplier performance reports.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Assist in preparing tender documents and cost estimates for new projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.

3 years of experience within UAE in construction industry.

Strong knowledge of building materials, MEP supplies, and local supplier markets.

Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.

Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
