Procurement & Purchasing Manager

Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all company purchasing activities, developing sourcing strategies to achieve best value, managing key supplier relationships, controlling budgets, and leading a team to ensure efficient and compliant acquisition of goods and services

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

: Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies, set budgets, and forecast needs.

Supplier Management

: Source, evaluate, and build long-term relationships with reliable vendors; negotiate contracts and terms.

Cost & Risk Management

: Conduct cost analysis, identify savings opportunities, manage procurement risks, and ensure compliance.

Operations

: Oversee purchase orders, track shipments, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments (production, finance).

Team Leadership

: Supervise, train, and manage purchasing staff.

Reporting

: Monitor metrics, analyze spending, and report on procurement performance.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Skills

: Negotiation, analytical, leadership, organizational, risk management, communication, data analysis.

Experience

: Proven track record in procurement, supply chain, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Knowledge

: Market trends, procurement software, purchasing best practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
