Job Description

We, Fordrough Building Contracting LLC are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement and Planning Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment, and supporting the planning and coordination of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement project planning and coordination, including scheduling, budgeting and timelines

- Coordinate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors

- Monitor project progress and report to management

- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, bidding, and contract award

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency

- Monitor and report on procurement performance and project progress

- Maintain accurate records and databases of procurement activities and contracts

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays

- Prepare and submit project reports and documentation

- Analyze project progress, productivity, and resource usage; provide weekly and monthly progress reports.

Forecast potential delays and develop mitigation and recovery plans.

- Review subcontractor programs and monitor alignment with the main project schedule.

Requirements:

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning

- Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or other planning software

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
