Procurement Officer
Job Description
Location: Umm Al Quwain
Industry: Cosmetics / Skin & Hair Care Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
Procure raw Packaging, labels, chemicals, active ingredients, fragrances, additives to be used in skin and hair care products and whatever is required for the company.
Identify reliable local and international suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Ensure materials meet quality, regulatory, and safety standards
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams
Prepare purchase orders, cost comparisons, and supplier documentation
Monitor market trends, pricing, and alternative sourcing options
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in procurement specifically related to chemicals and packaging for skin care and hair care products
Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and packaging specifications
Experience dealing with suppliers in the UAE and/or international markets
Good negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in procurement documentation and ERP or inventory systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing
Knowledge of UAE import regulations and supplier compliance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Availability: Immediate or short notice preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
