Procurement Officer & Stock Manager

to oversee our pharmacy's procurement, inventory control, and supplier management.

Job Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with pharmaceutical suppliers. Ensure timely procurement of medications and medical supplies at competitive prices. Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, and reliability.

Inventory & Stock Control

Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor product expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure all procurement activities comply with

UAE's Department of Health (DoH)

Handle controlled medication procurement and stock tracking in compliance with UAE laws.

Reporting & System Management

Utilize

inventory management software

to track stock levels and generate reports. Prepare cost analysis reports and advise on cost-saving procurement strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

.

CIPS certification

Experience:

2-5 years

of experience in procurement, supply chain, or stock control, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Strong understanding of

pharmaceutical supply chains and vendor management

. Familiarity with UAE

pharmacy regulations and controlled medication handling

.

Skills:

Proficiency in

inventory management software

Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and stock levels efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
