We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with a focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) purchasing to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in procurement within the construction sector, specializing in MEP materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure MEP materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. Assist in evaluating supplier quotations, ensuring competitive pricing, and ensuring delivery schedules are met. Prepare and process procurement documentation such as purchase orders, contracts, and RFQs (Request for Quotations). Coordinate with the project management team to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets. Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors. Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including budgets, orders, and invoices. Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and improve procurement processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in MEP procurement within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and systems. Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with UAE procurement laws and construction industry standards.
