Job Description

The Procurement Officer - OSE/FB is responsible to manage the end-to-end procurement process for Operating Supplies & Equipment (OSE) and Food & Beverage (F&B) items required to support the private engineering office operations. The Procurement Officer - OSE/FB ensures quality sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, vendor coordination, and timely delivery of goods, while adhering to UAE procurement regulations and the estate's standards for luxury service and operational excellence.

JOB LOCATION: FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or related field. CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of UAE Food Safety, Municipal Regulations, and customs clearance procedures is a plus. Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory for supplier visits and deliveries). HACCP awareness or basic food safety certification (advantageous for F&B procurement).

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of proven experience in OSE and F&B procurement, preferably in luxury hospitality, private estates, or five-star hotels within the UAE or GCC. Strong background in vendor sourcing, kitchen equipment, linen, cutlery, and specialty food products. Experience working with chefs, hospitality managers, and logistics teams. Familiarity with imported gourmet products, cold chain delivery, and premium supplier coordination.

KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

Product & Category Knowledge

In-depth understanding of OSE items: crockery, cutlery, glassware, supplies, etc. Familiarity with F&B products: fresh, frozen, and dry goods; premium ingredients; beverages; specialty brands. Ability to interpret kitchen and F&B requisitions in line with brand standards.

Procurement Operations

Issuing and managing RFQs, LPOs, and GRNs. Preparing cost comparisons and evaluating supplier proposals. Coordinating procurement plans for events, guest arrivals, or seasonal inventory.

Vendor Management

Sourcing and maintaining relationships with local and international suppliers. Negotiating pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and payment conditions. Ensuring supplier compliance with estate's standards and food safety requirements.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintaining updated records of invoices and delivery notes. Ensuring all F&B items comply with Dubai Municipality Food Control or relevant local authority standards. Handling customs documentation and clearance (if applicable).

Systems & Tools

Proficient in ERP or procurement systems Skilled in Excel, Word, and preparing procurement reports and inventory trackers.

Coordination & Communication

Liaising closely with kitchen staff, warehouse, and logistics teams. Excellent communication and follow-up skills to manage urgent requirements and deliveries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
