Job Description

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services related to facade projects, including aluminum profiles, glass, fittings, sealants, and subcontracted works. The role ensures timely procurement, cost control, and compliance with project specifications and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities for facade projects Source and evaluate suppliers for aluminum, glass, hardware, sealants, fasteners, and facade accessories Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders Coordinate with design, engineering, QS, and project teams to understand material specifications and schedules Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with project timelines Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid shortages or excess Ensure materials comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships Track procurement budgets and ensure cost control Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply-related issues Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual requirements Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and cost comparisons

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 4 years of procurement experience specifically in facade or building envelope industry Strong knowledge of facade materials (aluminum systems, glass types, fittings, sealants, etc.) Good negotiation and vendor management skills Ability to read and understand facade drawings and specifications Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Preferred:

Experience working with international suppliers Knowledge of contract terms and procurement best practices Experience in large-scale commercial or high-rise facade projects
