The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, services, and equipment for our real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services based on project requirements Review and process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and draft service agreements Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of supplier quotations Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align procurement with project timelines Track deliveries, verify invoices, and ensure materials meet quality and specification standards Maintain and update supplier databases, material logs, and procurement records Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and taxation requirements Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships Use ERP or procurement software to manage transactions and reporting



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the construction or real estate sector Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and local supplier markets Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with UAE procurement regulations and documentation standards Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
