We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in the construction industry to manage our supply chain, sourcing, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality, timelines, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and procure construction materials (e.g., steel, cement, MEP components), equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) while ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to avoid delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing) and maintain a preferred vendor list.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, safety standards, and legal/contractual requirements.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve disputes related to deliveries, invoices, or quality issues.

• 5+ years of procurement experience, specifically in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, supply chain logistics, and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts or other construction procurement frameworks is a plus.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
