The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee the purchasing process to ensure timely acquisition of quality materials and services, contributing to the successful execution of construction projects while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities: - Manage the procurement process from identifying requirements to supplier selection and purchase order issuance. - Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals. - Maintain accurate procurement records and documents. - Collaborate with project managers and other departments to forecast material needs and delivery schedules. - Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements in procurement activities. - Evaluate supplier performance and develop strong vendor relationships. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials. - Assist in resolving any procurement-related issues or discrepancies.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry. - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance. - Knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office suite. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
