Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Officer with a strong background in contracting, interior fit-out, and joinery works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement schedules, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, specifically tailored to interior and joinery project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for contracting and fit-out projects. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors, especially in the joinery and interior works sectors. Request and analyze quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements ensuring the best value in cost, quality, and delivery. Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure the timely availability of materials. Coordinate with the design, project, and site teams to understand material requirements and ensure alignment with project specifications. Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and cost reports. Conduct supplier performance evaluation and develop long-term vendor relationships. Monitor market trends and stay updated with new materials and technologies relevant to joinery and fit-out works. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal procurement practices. Support contract management activities including variation orders, claims, and close-out documentation.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in contracting, fit-out, and joinery industry, GCC experience. Strong knowledge of interior design materials, furniture, woodworks, and architectural finishes. Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems Knowledge of UAE/local market and suppliers is an advantage. Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
Working Conditions:

Office-based with occasional site visits. May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
