Job Purpose:



To support the procurement of raw materials, electronic components, and services by sourcing, placing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery in alignment with production schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



- Issue purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions, BOMs, or MRP recommendations.

- Request and compare supplier quotations for price, lead time, and terms.

- Coordinate with vendors for order confirmations, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.

- Verify supplier documentation including invoices, packing lists, and certificates (RoHS, CoC).

- Maintain procurement records in ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.

- Assist in vendor onboarding, qualification, and evaluation processes.

- Communicate with warehouse and QA to resolve receiving issues, short shipments, or rejections.

- Monitor critical material delivery for production and escalate delays as needed.

- Support Procurement Manager in cost-saving initiatives and vendor performance reviews.

- Comply with ISO 9001 and procurement documentation procedures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



- PO accuracy and completeness rate.

- Supplier response time and delivery performance.

- Cost control against budgeted or target prices.

- Timeliness of purchase order creation and processing.

- Procurement documentation compliance and traceability.

Qualifications:



- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing or EMS company.

- Familiarity with electronics components, BOMs, and ERP systems is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:



- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle).

- Good negotiation and vendor communication skills.

- Basic understanding of sourcing practices and trade terms.

- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate across departments.

Electronic component purchasing: 3 years (Required) * UAE import / export: 2 years (Required)
