Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide farms with necessary raw materials and agricultural products, such as fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural tools, and irrigation systems.
- Research and negotiate with local suppliers and agents in accordance with the annual budget, ensuring the best prices and quality are obtained in a timely manner.
- Receive and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Periodically evaluate supplier performance and update the supplier database.
- Develop the supplier base and search for new suppliers with flexible payment terms.
- Coordinate continuously with the agriculture department to ensure material availability during critical periods and prevent interruptions in agricultural operations.
- Monitor inventory in cooperation with the warehouse management and ensure the minimum level of essential materials is maintained.
- Adhere to the companys procurement and supply policies and procedures.
- Prepare periodic reports detailing the status and cost of purchases.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good knowledge of computer applications and ERP systems.
- Good in English.
