To handle purchasing activities, source suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for company operations. Key Responsibilities: o Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services. o Prepare purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules. o Maintain and update vendor lists and price records. o Coordinate with departments (maintenance, production, logistics, etc.) to understand material requirements. o Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval workflows. o Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the storekeeper to avoid shortages. o Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or documentation. o Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and monthly purchasing summaries. o Ensure all relevant documents (LPO, quotations, delivery notes, invoices) are properly filed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. o 3-5 years of experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably in construction, ready-mix, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industry. o Strong negotiation, sourcing, and communication skills. o Knowledge of local and international suppliers. o Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. o Must be available in Qatar with a valid QID.
