Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced

Procurement Officer

to manage the purchasing process for construction and maintenance materials and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods to support ongoing projects. This role requires strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of procurement within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction and maintenance projects Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines Maintain updated procurement records, pricing, and supplier databases Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to determine purchasing needs Track orders and ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues related to delays or discrepancies Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term procurement efficiency Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction and maintenance Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and vendor sourcing Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
