Procurement Officer

Male or Female of any nationality
Minimum Desired Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related Engineering fields

Minimum Required Skill, Experience, Training: At least 5 years of experience in Procurement system Ability to interact with vendors and provide assistance to purchasing related issues Knowledge of product and servicing purchasing policies and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel

Prepares Purchase Order including follow-up and negotiation with suppliers/vendors to ensure on time placement of orders/shipping. Negotiates with local and international suppliers/vendors for efficient delivery of parts and materials. Coordinates with vendors and departmental heads for order documentation approval. Analyzes, identifies, and communicates information regarding purchase orders and resolves problems relating to purchasing issues. Verifies and inputs vendor data into the MS Excel system and develops reports to track vendors and categorizes pricing. Responsible for process efficiencies of procurement process. Conducts annual supplier evaluation in coordination with Project Managers or corresponding personnel in relation to procurement of materials. Prepare, maintain and review procurement files, reports and price lists Follow up Accountants on payment to supplier Performs other job-related duties as required Identify and report occupational health and safety hazards, environmental aspects and any incidents arising from his/her workplace and ensure these are resolved. Implement and support the resource utilization, conservation of natural resources and proper waste disposal initiatives and programs within the company. Perform HSE assessment - Risk, environmental aspects and occupational health and safety - and ensure relevant controls are in place Performs other job-related duties as required.
